I&#039;ve typed it a dozen times this week, but it&#039;s still true: If you were a Leaf fan in the mid-80s, you understand what Wendel meant. If you weren&#039;t, then you never will.</description>

		<description>I also remember talking to you on the phone the Easter weekend before Wendel got traded to Quebec. We were at the cottage and your brother and sister-in-law and I were in the process of spray painting the beer fridge in a Maple Leaf blue colour and I mentioned that we were cutting out a cardboard template of the Maple Leaf to put on the door and leave a white Maple Leaf crest in the middle of the door. You immediately insisted we also make a template for the number 17 to leave that number in white on the door as well. It was forever known as the &quot;Wendel fridge&quot; from then on! (kept the beer cold too!)</description>
