it helps me convince myself that this little blog thingy of mine is WAY different, mental health-wise, from sitting in a darkened room, rocking back and forth and telling stories to the cat

I have said the EXACT SAME THING to theVet (well, the gist of it, at any rate), asserting that the dogs are always willing to listen, if not also administer a sympathetic lick now and then.

In sooth, the concert footage is from the one and only Heroes performance in the Great City of Hamilton, which I think happened in April or May of 2001.

And the upside down water footage is for sure what most people would call "stolen from" the upside-down ground/Grand Am footage you did for that Coach video. In film, I think we call "stolen from" an "homage."

Being one of the early producers of video for HiR, I quite like the ambient quality of the video. The scenery and the music sync quite well with each other. I especially like the upside down passing water, much like my original upside down passing road that I created for one of the Coach and Horses performances. The live playing shots (I believe from the release party for Ouais) work well with the tune even if not actual footage of you guys playing the actual tune. I will have to dig out the video and stills that I have of the early years for a sort of retrospective.
