Quite apart from the fact that I think &#8220;Warchild&#8221; sounds like an excellent name for a heavy metal band from Ohio (reason enough to participate if you ask me), the actual real purpose of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.warchild.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Sing it, Warchild!  I can't hear you!!!\">the charity<\/a> sounds like an excellent idea.   Accordingly, I have submitted <a href=\"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/2007\/04\/15\/ready-set-go\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"The first post at HiR:tb.  It's been all downhill since then.\">this<\/a> to be considered for inclusion in the book.  I am advised that the rules for submissions are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be a blogger with a live blog<\/li>\n<li>It must be about something you\u2019ve been through, amusing or serious or any style you like.<\/li>\n<li>You can submit in your blogname and remain anonymous, or not, up to you.<\/li>\n<li>It can\u2019t be something previously published outside the blogworld, but anything from your blog, or something entirely new, is fine.<\/li>\n<li>Try to keep below 1500 words.<\/li>\n<li>You must pimp the book on your site and buy it if you make a submission to be in it!<\/li>\n<li>Please LINK BACK TO <a href=\"http:\/\/peacharse.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/youre-not-only-one_10.html\"><font color=\"#0066cc\">THIS POST<\/font><\/a> to spread the word!<\/li>\n<li>NEW DEADLINE IS 9th MARCH 2008 for submissions.<\/li>\n<li>Send your submissions to <a href=\"mailto:bloggersforcharity@yahoo.co.uk\">bloggersforcharity@yahoo.co.uk<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Done and done.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I learned about this project, a bloggers&#8217; book to benefit Warchild from Mike.
