{"id":1717,"date":"2015-04-25T20:40:49","date_gmt":"2015-04-26T00:40:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/?p=1717"},"modified":"2015-04-25T20:48:57","modified_gmt":"2015-04-26T00:48:57","slug":"his-mind-works-in-three-dimensions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/2015\/04\/25\/his-mind-works-in-three-dimensions\/","title":{"rendered":"His Mind Works in Three Dimensions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);\">Ben built an &#8220;Octonauts Playset from McDonalds&#8221; tonight out of card stock and Scotch tape. &nbsp;It&#8217;s a fairly sizeable cube-shaped object with a door cut into it (for easy insertion of seafaring animal explorers, no doubt.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);\">It&#8217;s the logical sequel, I suppose, to his work from earlier today: &#8220;How To Make Tree House&#8221;, [sic] a &#8220;making book&#8221; for those interested in the correct methods of construction in relation to arboreal domiciles.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<div style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_6289-0.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_6289-0.jpg\" title=\"\" class=\"size-medium\"><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">You can&#8217;t complain you were misled bu the title<\/p><\/div>&nbsp;<span style=\"line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);\">The book details how to obtain and assemble the pieces required to erect the eponymous structure, concluding with a diagram showing the correctly installed project.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_6301.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/heroesinrehab.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_6301.jpg\" title=\"\" class=\"size-medium\"><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">i still can&#8217;t make a really succesful illustration of a 3D cube.  He&#8217;s four.<\/p><\/div>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: normal; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);\">I gather that attempts to describe the construction of some sort of three-dimensional object in two-dimensional space proved unsatisfying, so he moved on to modelling the structure with the materials at hand in his immediate vicinity.
