Look at the men.\u00a0 They are wearing blue and white.\u00a0 Why are the men wearing Blue and White?\u00a0 They are Toronto Maple Leafs hockey players.\u00a0\u00a0 They are teammates playing a hockey game.\u00a0 They wear blue and white shirts.\u00a0 They wear blue and white pants.\u00a0 The blue and white shirts and pants are called uniforms<\/em>.\u00a0 Why do the Maple Leafs hockey players wear uniforms?\u00a0 If they did not wear uniforms, they could not be sure that the player they are passing the puck to is on the other team.<\/p>\n

Look at the men’s feet.\u00a0 The men are wearing funny shoes.\u00a0 The funny shoes are called skates<\/em>.\u00a0 Why are the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey players wearing skates?\u00a0\u00a0 Judging by the way the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing against the Florida Panthers, no one is really quite sure.<\/p>\n

Look at the man at the end of the rink.\u00a0 He is wearing lots of extra padding.\u00a0 Who is the man wearing lots of extra padding?\u00a0 His name is Vesa Toskala, and he is the Toronto Maple Leafs’ goalie.\u00a0\u00a0 What is a goalie?\u00a0 A goalie stands in the way when men from the other team shoot the puck. \u00a0 A goalie stops the puck and makes a save. <\/em>Doesn’t that sound scary?\u00a0 Let’s watch Vesa Toskala.\u00a0 See the man with the puck?\u00a0 Shoot, man, shoot!\u00a0\u00a0 Okay, that one went in the net.\u00a0 It is not a save.\u00a0 Let’s watch again.\u00a0 See the man with the puck?\u00a0 Shoot, man, shoot!.\u00a0\u00a0 Hmmm, I’m sure Vesa Toskala will stand in the way of one of these shots soon.\u00a0 Maybe we should come back later.<\/p>\n

See the man at the bench?\u00a0 His name is Ron and he is a hockey coach.\u00a0 He is the coach of the Toronto maple Leafs.\u00a0 Coach, Ron, coach!\u00a0 What does a coach do?\u00a0 When the players on the team make a mistake, the hockey coach must fix it. The hockey coach must tell the players what they did wrong.\u00a0 He must teach them never to do that again.\u00a0 Doesn’t that sound interesting?\u00a0 Would you like to talk to Coach Ron?\u00a0\u00a0 That would <\/em>be fun,\u00a0 but Coach Ron is a VERY busy man.<\/p>\n
